Light sculpture "Reflex" responds to the movements of the street.

Click below to watch the video.

Peter Freeman : the artist statement
« The artistic aim for Reflex is to create a luminous identity for the CB1 development.
With the use of light, I wanted to create a vibrant, uplifting and colourful luminous space for the people living in or passing through Station Road.
Relfex was born from the movements of Station Road along with the seasons and special days. This will reflect a sense that the art and architecture are in tune with the passing of time and also act to surprise and engage people who regularly use Station Road reminding them of time and change. The seasons are marked with different colour signatures for Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. There is the added dimension that the lights change for special calendar events. »

Wireless DMX control system for the Citadel

Some areas in and about the Citadel of Bonifacio, such as the "Grain de sable" rock, the "Sutta Rocca" cliff or the masts of the bastion, already supplied with a 230 V power entry, are isolated by a road or are miles-away from any access to wired DMX control systems.

For all these remote areas, and to meet with the City's requirements, both on reducing its costs of structural work and on the technical side of using a remote control system, LEC supplied a DMX signal with wireless transmitters/receivers modules conveyed by WIFI network.
