Comines, city centre (France)
Overall view
Comines, redevelopment of its town centre and highlighting of its architectural buildings
Comines, located 18 km from Lille in the Hauts-de-France region, has undergone a redevelopment of its city centre around the Grand Place. The project involved rethinking urban, public and architectural lighting as part of a global approach.
The approach taken by our partner-agent Candéliance was to take a global view of light:
- Functional, to meet accessibility standards and the light pollution decree,
- Aesthetics, so that each lighting solution harmonises with the others,
- Architectural, with the highlighting of the heritage and markings ".
A number of LEC luminaires were installed to meet these specifications.
