The new facade of the Galeries Lafayette in Marseille, designed by Moatti and Rivière architects, is an architectural
achievement, wrapping the Galeries Lafayette of a spectular glazed and chrystal clear ribbon.
Waving around the facade of the shopping mall, such as a symbolic wave from the Mediterranean Sea, 3 hat veils integrate
the architectural exterior lighting devices, designed by the agency 8’18”.
LEC manufactured 149 bespoke linears with the 5650-Clem. They are fixed on the internal base of the lower hat veil.
One of the 4 prizes in “Versailles Shopping Mall Architecture 2015 Prize” was accredited to the Galeries
Lafayette Mall in the Centre Bourse quarter in Marseille for the architectural quality of the project.
