The highlights give the route and therefore the city of Vendôme a real night-time identity.

The main principles that underpin the identity of the route are predominantly white light with alternating cold and warm tones and the use of colour on the most emblematic monuments. The Trinity Abbey of Vendôme, founded in 1033, has regained all its majesty.

The highest heritage site in the city: the Saint-Jacques Chapel (the bell tower, the stained glass windows and reinforcing of the existing lighting), the entrances to the Town Hall, the inner courtyard of the Oratorians middle school, the Hotel du Saillant, Ronsard Park, rue du Change and Tour Saint-Martin have benefited from this new light route.
